Washoe Online Learning for the Future (WOLF) is a tuition-free full-time virtual public school providing students with the flexibility to learn with a curriculum that meets rigorous state education standards. What’s more, WOLF is provided exclusively for residents of Washoe County giving your online learner the benefit of a truly global learning experience with the comfort of a local connection—our community, our local instructors, your child’s interests at heart.
Offering both full-time and part-time options to Washoe County residents, WOLF provides:
- Challenging, K–12 curriculum developed by leading education experts.
- Instruction from highly-qualified state-certified teachers who are experienced in online instruction.
- Support from trained counselors, an experienced principal, and dedicated administrative staff.
- Free textbooks and materials needed to participate in a dynamic online learning environment.

Washoe Online Learning for the Future is a pioneering online school offered by Washoe County School District.

WOLF is provisionally accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), one of six regional accrediting organizations for higher education institutions recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the United States Department of Education.
WOLF has partnered with Connections Education, a division of the global education leader, Pearson, which has delivered successful virtual school instruction to hundreds of thousands of students in the last decade. Connections Education is accredited by AdvancED.
